It is with great happiness that we congratulate NCC for honouring and celebrating the 2022 World Consumer Rights Day tagged “Fair Digital Finance”. ATCON, also being a consumer centric Association is pleased to identify with the Commission in celebrating consumers all over the world particularly the very esteemed telecom consumers.

Appreciation

ATCON would like to use this opportunity to appreciate the good work of Professor Umar Garba Danbata, Executive Vice Chairman of NCC who has been working assiduously to change the narrative of Nigerian Telecoms industry through the through a number of well documented projects and policies targeted at the continuous develop of the telecoms industry and the ultimate satisfaction of the Nigeria telecom consumers.

 

Conclusion 

ATCON is particularly pleased that this event offers a veritable platform for the Regulator and Telecom Operators to take feedbacks from the , Consumers (corporate and personal) and rob minds on how consumers can be better off in terms of effective delivery of telecoms and ICT services and products in Nigeria and to also attract further investment into the sector through consumerism and enactment of friendly policies and regulation by the Government.

We are sure that our members would use the feedback(s) from this event to improve and model their service delivery going forward.
